Dear Church Family and Friends,

Not only are we saddened by the recent acts of evil against our Christian brothers and sisters in South Carolina, we are acutely aware of the increasing number of acts of evil against many of our citizens.

In response to the shooting of nine people at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, SC, a memorial service was held at the Red Brick Church  on Wednesday, June 24.  Community leaders, clergy and the public are invited to join together to pray for peace and unity among the races and to remember the families of those slain in the most recent  evil event.

For more information about this service go to

The Red Brick Church

Located on the corner of Front and Spring Streets in Downtown Exeter, New Hampshire, we are a caring and joyful congregation where you will feel the spirit and presence of God.

Our Mission

To know the word and love of God
To show the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ
To allow the Holy Spirit to flow through us
To go where God leads us and be who God wants us to be
To minister to the needs of church and community
To support local and worldwide missions in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We function autonomously and maintain the rights of our membership to govern our own affairs according to our By-Laws, independent of any denominational control. Recognizing the benefits and joy of cooperation with other churches and Christian organizations in world missions and otherwise, Red Brick Church classifies itself as “Interdenominational.” The majority of those who gather together in this historic space do not come from a Baptistic tradition.

We also honor our church’s heritage by maintaining an historical affiliation with the American Baptist Churches of NH/VT.  This church may voluntarily affiliate with any Christian church or Christian organization of like precious faith.
